Moonlight TUSCANY TRAIL Saturday, September 10, 2022

 

 

 Trail running event over distances of 18 / 42 km organized by ASD Sienarunners in collaboration with the Pro-Loco of Castiglione d'Orcia, Campiglia d'Orcia, Gallina.

         It will be possible to participate in the 18 km distance non-competitively in the form of walking.

REGULATIONS AND COVID-19 PREVENTION MEASURES APPLIED AT THE EVENT "TUSCANY MOONLIGHT"

Tuscany Chiaro di Luna, affiliated with UISP, applies and complies with the COVID-19 UISP Application Protocol, regarding "NO STADIA" Events and Competitions, which can be consulted at this link http://www.uisp.it/nazionale/files/principale/2020/protocollo_applicativo_covid19.pdf (p. 33-36), and which has implemented the Government's regulatory directions.
Specifically, the following rules will be applied and followed for which the utmost cooperation of the athletes and all personnel present is requested.

 

REGISTRATION MANAGEMENT
Entries are made and finalized online on the website www.tuscanycrossing.com and on the Avaibook. platform,

 

CONDITIONS FOR REGISTRATION

Participants in the 18/44 km Trail Running event must have a medical certificate for the competitive practice of Athletics (issued by a sports doctor)

All athletes born in 2003 and previous years with a UISP, FIDAL or Runcard card in possession of a medical sports certificate for competitive activity, valid as of September 11, 2022, may register for the Tuscany Chiaro di luna 44 km.

People born in 2004 and earlier years can register for the 18 km.

People from other sports federations and free but obligatorily in possession of a medical certificate of fitness for competitive sports activity may participate. Entries of athletes who are serving disqualifications for use of doping substances will not be accepted

From June 15, 2022, it will be possible to make online registrations by following the instructions on the website www.tuscanyrunwalk.com until the end of available places however no later than September 6, 2022.

BEFORE THE START


1. Bib distribution and delivery
From 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 until ½ before the start


2. Bag storage and locker rooms
Changing rooms and bag storage are provided.

 

 

 

7. THE DEPARTURE.

     Timetable:

42 km trail 5:30 p.m.

18 km walk 5:30 p.m.

18 km Trail 6:30 p.m.


1. Race refreshments

Participants will find solid refreshments at kilometers 17, 23 and 31.The "Tuscany Chiaro di Luna" is run on a semi-self-sufficiency basis, i.e. the participant must carry the necessary amount of drinks and food to get from one refreshment point to another. After receiving the solid or liquid food, the athlete is asked to consume the food inside where waste collection bins are placed
Athletes are advised to carry any food, drinks or minerals they need in their backpacks.
Refreshments in the race are located at three different points along the course. As per race regulations it will be mandatory to carry your own glass or water bottle.

For the 18 km there will be only one refreshment at the 10th km.

2.Final refreshment
Once at the finish line the athlete can access the final refreshment.

3. Awards
In-kind prizes will be awarded to the first 5 men and the first 5 women finishers of each race.

8.DECLARATION OF RESPONSIBILITY

 

The duly registered participant declares that he/she knows and respects the regulations of" TUSCANY AL CHIARO DI LUNA" published on the website , is aware that participating in " Tuscany al Chiaro di luna" and/or sporting events in general is potentially a risky activity. He/she further declares that he/she voluntarily registers and assumes all risks arising from participation in the event: falls, contact with vehicles, with other participants, spectators or others, weather conditions, including scorching heat, extreme cold and/or wet weather, traffic and road conditions, that each type of risk is well known and assessed. Being aware of the above, considering the acceptance of the entry, the entrant in the interest of no one else, releases and discharges the Organizing Committee, exonerated from all present and future claims or liabilities of any kind, known or unknown, derived from participation in the event. Once the registration for " Tuscany in the Moonlight" is accepted. , the participation fee is non-refundable but transferable to the next edition . 

 

9.RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PARTICIPANT

 

The registered participant is responsible for the ownership and custody of his race bib, acquiring the right to use all the services mentioned in these regulations and subsequently communicated. a) Anyone who, without regular registration, participates without a bib, in addition to being held responsible for damage to persons or property, including himself, may be liable for the criminal penalties provided for the crime of "theft" (art. 624. c.p.). b) Anyone who, without proper registration, participates with a counterfeit bib or otherwise not in accordance with the allocation, in addition to being liable as indicated above, may be liable to the criminal penalties provided for the crime of "theft" (art. 624. c.p.), or, alternatively, for the crime of fraud (art. 640 c.p). In cases (a) and (b), participants may be liable to the penalties provided for the crime of "failure to comply with the measures of the Authorities" (art. 650 c.p.). The above cases will also be found after verification of photographic and/or video documentation.

 

10.DATA PROCESSING REGULATIONS

Pursuant to Article 13 of the European Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of personal data ("GDPR") we inform: A) that the data contained in the registration form are required for registration, to prepare the list of participants, the eventual ranking, the historical archive, to carry out the services declared in the regulations and to send information material of the Organizing Committee ; B) that the consequences of failure to provide the above data or information consist in the non-admission to the event; C) At any time the interested party may consult, modify, delete their data free of charge by writing to the person in charge of the processing of personal data the Organizing Committee (info@tuscanycrossing.com)

11.RESPONSIBILITY AND PRIVACY PROTECTION

 

By registering for " Tuscany in the moonlight" the participant declares that he/she knows in its entirety, accepts these regulations and exonerates the organizers from any liability, both civil and criminal, for damages to persons and/or property caused by him/her or derived from him/her. Participants must comply with the rules of the Highway Code. Pursuant to the European Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of personal data ("GDPR"), prior to registration the athlete is required to read the documentation on the protection of privacy, available on the website www.tuscanytrailcrossing.com and to express their consent to the processing of personal data, in the manner provided. The data provided will be processed in accordance with the rules set forth in European Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of personal data ("GDPR") and used exclusively for the purposes set forth in these regulations.

 

12.FAILURE TO RUN

 

In the event that the race is cancelled and/or, in any case, not held due to causes not dependent on and/or not attributable to the will of the organizers, including the revocation of the authorization to hold the race by the Competent Public Bodies, the registrant shall have nothing to claim from the Organizing Committee or other co-organizers not even by way of reimbursement of expenses incurred and those incurred, since the signing of the application form is also valid as a waiver of any claim for damages and/or compensation and/or any claim for reinstatement and/or satisfaction of any pecuniary loss suffered and being suffered.

    13.VARIATIONS.

 

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to amend these regulations at any time to update any changes that will be made to the UISP regulations or for any other reason it deems appropriate to the improvement event. The participant must always refer to what is published on the website www.tuscanyrunwalk.com

 

 

For anything not provided for in these regulations, please refer to the specific regulations and the relevant laws in force. The organizing company reserves the right to vary any clause of these Regulations at any time for reasons of force majeure. the race will take place on a mixed asphalt/gravel course. Participants may not in any case tamper with the race bib by concealing inscriptions and/or symbols, under penalty of disqualification. All participants in the race are required to obey the traffic laws. It is expressly forbidden to be accompanied by bicycle or other unauthorized personnel.

 

TUSCANY RUN&WALK CIRCUIT

 

Sunday, August 21, 9 a.m. with start and finish at Vivo d'Orcia(SI): VIVO TRAIL with routes of 20 km and D+ 570 and 10 km D+ 350.

Saturday, September 10, 5:30 p.m. with departure and arrival at Campiglia d'Orcia(SI): CLARO DI LUNA with routes of 42 km and D+ 1620 and 18 km D+ 720.

Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 9 a.m. with start and finish in Gallina(SI): CROSSING 46th PARALLEL with routes of 24 km and D+ 680 and 13 km D+ 280

Prizes will be awarded each race to the top 5 male and female finishers.

At the end from the three races, a ranking will be drawn up among all colors who participated in all three races and prizes will be awarded to the first overall and the first three of each UISP category.

 

TUSCANY RUN & WALK CIRCUIT RULES 2022  

 

 

1) REGISTRATION.

Registration for the circuit is free of charge, just participate in the three races of the circuit to access the final ranking.

 

2) POINTS.

Points will be awarded in each race according to Uisp categories every 5 years:

to the first place 20 points,to the second 19 to the third 18 and so on down to the 20th position from the 21st onwards only one point will be awarded.

 

3) BONUSES.

Bonuses will also be awarded: 

km : 10 (example 20 km bonus 20:10 = 2 bonus points)
